Hannah Beil
At 17, I made myself the Creative Director and Founder of my own magazine. Not because anyone gave me the title — because I decided it was mine.

I am a do-er. An idea will always be an idea until is a success or a lesson.
That instinct, to build the thing, name yourself the person who makes it, and figure out the rest as you go, has defined everything since. I didn’t wait for a brand to hand me a strategy role. I created editorial, directed shoots, managed campaigns, analyzed markets, and built communities across beauty, fashion, and interior design until the work spoke for itself.
I’m a brand manager, creative strategist, and beauty analyst based in Philadelphia, PA. I work with brands that take their identity and future seriously (luxury skincare, independent fashion, high-end interiors) because I believe that the brands worth building are the ones that know exactly who they are and refuse to compromise it for less than.
My analytical background at Beauty MarketingIQ gives me the market intelligence to understand why consumers move. My editorial experience at ÜP gives me the taste to know what will resonate. My campaign work at Allies of Skin including $350K+ in earned media, two product launches, a Violet Grey event, and a Case Kenny partnership gives me the proof.
I don’t believe in waiting for permission. I believe in building the thing and becoming the person who makes it. That’s what I did at 17. It’s what I’m still doing.
What You Should Know About Me
I lead with my heart, I always have and I always will. I learned quickly that teachers are only as good as their students, and I take this into every collaboration and leadership opportunity.
I Founded an Independent Magazine at Seventeen Years Old
At 17, I founded ÜP Editorial as a passion project turned full-scale digital magazine—built from the ground up to spotlight emerging talent and creative voices. As the sole editor-in-chief and creative lead, I’ve worn every hat: casting models, styling shoots, photographing and interviewing cover stars, writing and editing long-form features, and publishing polished issues to our website. I’ve managed each edition from concept to release while staying under budget, meeting deadlines, and building an engaged community across social platforms. ÜP has not only taught me how to tell meaningful stories—it’s shaped my identity as a creative leader, project manager, and brand builder.
Features: The monthly issues go beyond traditional story-telling with its granularity and impact.
